A nice element about writing books for children is having an eager and
attentive audience.The first introduction of Kamran and Mapa took place in Kathmandu, Nepal on September 9, 1999 at an exhibition of 120 kids hosted by the British School.
The creators, Marc, Diana and Sanukta told the first story of how Kamran and Mapa met and began their travels.
The children asked questions and learned that the ideas for Kamran and Mapa
are from Diana's dreams.
