Breathe Into The Present

Where are you right now?
Are you present?

Before we move on, let’s bring ourselves to present by checking in with our breathe.

  1. Close your eyes and and take a deep breathe in.

  2. Breathe out through the nose slowly.

    Did you notice a shudder or was the breathe smooth and easy?

    However your breath communicates will let show you how many past emotions you are holding
    .
    Notice what comes up and let go of the emotions with each exhale.

  3. Now, repeat steps 1 and 2 (2x)

  4. One more time, breathe in, and exhale out the mouth with a sigh.


Notice how you feel now after less than 180 seconds of conscious breathing.


The breath is a great indicator of showing you exactly how you are doing today. Is it shallow, it is deep, do I pay any mind to it at all? It’s the one thing we must do in order to live in every moment. Breathe.


As we move forward, let’s focus on where we are, not where we think we are supposed to be. Then we may begin to love our lives, love ourselves. Witnessing the opportunities that always exists in front of us. This is what it means to be present.
